Both turbocharged Austro AE300 jet fuel piston engines performs perfectly with XR-16 design. They burn only 10 gph at economic cruise condition, and are feed with JET-A1 diesel fuel. Austro Engine’s related systems, which use advanced technology, provide máximum efficiency as checked in many already flying aircraft.

 

The 3 blade MT hydraulic constant speed propellers provides efficient performance and low noise. They are automatically driven by each engine’s control unit, wich means simplified power control, as you only have to manipulate one power lever, ECU cares about the pitch.
